How merit is calculated
Which aggregate applies depends on the intake you are applying to, and so does the minimum entry-test score a candidate has to reach to be considered.
First Year (HSSC)

First-year admission on Matriculation, Intermediate and the entry test. A minimum of 20% in the entry test is required to be considered.

Third-year (5th semester) admission for Associate Degree holders. SSC and HSSC carry no weight. A minimum of 20% in the entry test is required to be considered.
